Backorders Occasionally we run out of a popular item (especially during the busy summer ordering months June-August). When that happens, we’ll notify you so you tell us whether you will wait, choose a substitute product or cancel that item from your order. But keep in mind, canceling your order with the thought or getting it elsewhere may actually backfire since all school supply companies rely on the same manufacturers to drop ship your item! So in most cases, you are better off to wait or choose a substitute item. HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?1. Do you accept purchase orders? Yes, from public institutions such as public schools, charter schools, public hospitals and Head Starts, as well as municipal, county, state, or federal agencies. 2. If the contents of any box are damaged, refuse the shipment, and call Teachers' School Supply Customer Service at (800)477-7745. If you sign for the shipment without inspecting and later find concealed damage, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods to arrange for a replacement. Be sure to keep original shipping cartons until an inspection has been made, and until the matter has been resolved. 3. What about incomplete orders? To speed your order to you, we often ship in multiple shipments from the closest warehouse. So don’t be surprised if your entire order doesn’t arrive at once. We just don’t want to delay the quicker-shipping items while we wait for the slower ones to ship. But if you don’t get the number of boxes listed on the shipper's paperwork, tell the driver and sign only for the number of boxes you actually received. Then call Teachers' School Supply Customer Service at (800) 477-7745 and we will help you. I NEED HELP CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRODUCT1. How can I determine which kind of crib to order? You never need to sacrifice quality for price with Teachers' School Supply's cribs. Even our most economical institutional daycare cribs are made of the highest quality materials and meet or exceed all government standards. But if price is an important issue for you, then our Folding Evacuation Crib is your best buy. This durable metal folding crib with white powder-coat finish and easy-to-roll 3" casters is built to last. You could actually put up to 200 lbs. in the crib and it will still roll easily. That's a lot of babies! Naturally, check your local regulations to guide you in this matter. If you want to spend a bit more on your institutional daycare cribs, consider our beautifully-arched metal evacuation crib. These beautiful white cribs are ASTM and CPSC approved and JPMA certified. They also hold up to 200 lbs and roll effortlessly on heavy-duty casters. There's nothing like the warm feel and color of natural solid hardwood cribs. Our wood cribs also feature drop sides, making it easier for little daycare providers to lift hefty tots into and out of cribs. So if beauty, ease of use as well as durability is important to you and the parents of your tender charges, you may wish to consider our natural wood cribs. Our Safety-Craft Drop Side cribs even feature clear Plexiglas end panels so daycare providers can see what the little ones are up to. You can combine the best of both metal evacuation cribs and wooden cribs by choosing an evacuation kit with the wooden cribs. All Teachers' School Supply institutional daycare cribs meet the following government and industry standards: ASTM, JPMA, CPSC. Contact us for details. 2. Can you help me with my classroom chair questions? Of course! At Teachers' School Supply, we've put a lot of time into working with chair manufacturers to develop the following helpful guidelines for classroom chairs. To choose the right size classroom chair, please refer to the chart below. The chair seat height is determined by measuring from the ground to the front lip of the seat.
Naturally, every child is different and you may find it helpful to measure the classroom chairs you already have and have your students sit in them to determine which size you need to order. We carry Virco student chairs, those by Royal Seating and economical classroom chairs from Early Learning Resource. You have our guarantee that they are all built to last for many, many years. 3. I need classroom desks. What should I look for? Although it is convenient to buy one-piece chair-desk combinations, which make the most of your classroom space, it is more economical to buy free-standing student desks that are not attached to chairs. So first try to determine how many students will be sitting in the classroom. Next measure the classroom. Then, give us a call and we'll be able to determine whether chair-desk combinations or separate student desks and chairs will accommodate your classroom needs. The most popular style of student desk is the open front student desk. Virco and Royal Seating both make sturdy, budget-priced open front student desks. Some have plastic book boxes, while others have metal ones. The metal are a bit more durable, but can be noisy when students slam their books into them! So choose your classroom desks carefully. The legs adjust in height for preschoolers through adults, so in this case, one size truly fits all! One way to avoid noisy book boxes is to choose our popular lift-lid desk. This student desk features a hinged lid that provides lots of quiet storage space for students' books and papers. The lift lid desk also features adjustable height legs. Even more storage comes with our Junior Executive Desk with a large book compartment on the side that will hold big textbooks. This student desk takes up a bit more space, but it also gives the student a larger surface on which to write so is more appropriate for older students. Adjustable-height legs are of course standard. Chair Desk Combinations take up the least amount of floor space and provide a large writing surface. The legs on this classroom desk do not adjust. So they are appropriate only for 5th graders to adults. 4. Help with other products.
